Geographically, Corozal is characterized by its mountainous terrain and the presence of several rivers, such as the Cibuco, Corozal, and Mavilla. The Monte Choca State Forest, covering approximately 244 acres, is a protected area offering opportunities for ecotourism and biodiversity conservation. Additionally, the municipality features historic structures such as the Mavilla Bridge, built in 1903, which reflect its architectural heritage.
